Distance Meet, November 4, 2001

Date:  Sunday, November 4, 2001.  Warm Ups: 6:45am    Start: 7:30am 
Facility: Salem State College O'Keefe Center, 25 yard, 8 lane, 
7 foot wide with non-turbulent lane lines, starting blocks,
Colorado electronic timing with touch pads and full 8 line scoreboard. 
Seating for 250 spectators and on deck bleacher seating for 350. 250 spectators and on deck bleacher seating for 350.
Entry Info:  Enter all swimmers on the standard New England Swimming entry form which must be postmarked by Friday, October 26, 2001.  Mail your entry form with check to: NSSC, 19 Fenley Road, Gloucester MA 01930. Entry Fees are $4.00 per 1650 Free, $4.00 per 500 Free. Make checks payable to: North Shore Swim Club.
Eligibility:

 All swimmers must be 2001 registered with USS Swimming. New  Englandswimmers may register with Mary Riddell, 20 Cleveland  Rd. Needham Ma. 02192.
Procedure for 
Cutting Meet:

  In order to comply with the "4" hour rule the meet will be cut by date of receipt and certain events at the discretion of the meet director.
Format: All events will be timed finals. 2001 USS rules will govern the competition.
Special
  Instructions:               

There will be absolutely no diving during warm-ups, except in designated sprint lanes when announced. Swimmers must be under the supervision of their coach. Swimmers attending the meet without a coach should report directly to the referee.  

Coaches:   All coaches or team representative must get their team scratch forms at the platform on deck and return by 7:00 am.
Warm Up  Warm up schedule will be distributed to each team participating in the meet.
Directions:   From 128N take Exit 25A toward Salem (114E) Follow 114E through downtown Salem onto Route 1A (Canal Street). Stay on Canal Street 1 1/2 miles,  Salem State O’Keefe Center will be on your left. Plenty of free parking.  Walk up ramp to complex entrance.
