Hello Everyone:

 

Congratulations to all the swimmers who attended the Blizzard Classic Meet this past weekend. We had many swimmers make finals and experience the mental and physical aspects of trials and finals, then swim fast! Everyone did a wonderful job and the well of positivity was overflowing! Thank you to all the parents, officials and coaches for their support and help during the sessions! We had many highlights from this weekend, including: Matt O'Brien qualifying for Sectionals and breaking the NSSC record in the 200 fly (1:58.06), Annie Lindland qualified for Sectionals in the 100 Backstroke (1:01.06), Douglas Newland made his first Age Group Championship cut in the 200 backstroke, Phil Cherner and Nicole Adee qualified for Age Groups in four and two events! AWESOME!

Website updates posted: Championship qualifiers, best times, dual meet general information, and club records. We are updating pictures on the website. We will be running a scroll of 50-75 pictures on the front page. If you have any pictures that you would like considered, please email.

 

February Calendars will be posted by the end of the week.

 

Reminder: There is no practice at Minuteman tech on Thursday and Friday this week. Please join us at Hanscom on Thursday and Saturday.

 

Distance meet information for this weekend is posted online. Please be 15 minutes for warm ups.

 

We have been accepted into the Shawmut Meet at the end of the month. General information and entry have been posted.

 

NSSC is seeking parents who are interested in becoming swimming officials. If you would like to learn more about officiating, please email Tony!

 

Dual Meets:

 

NSSC has had many swimmers quickly become ready for competition. We have also had many swimmers miss meets due to illness and other activities. If this is your child, please consider having them swim at the upcoming dual meets.
