Here are some important NSSC updates as of Thursday June 12, 2008:
1)
MIT Swim Meet- June 21 & 22, 2008: NSSC is
hosting a long course invitational meet at the beautiful MIT Zesinger Center
pool on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, 2008. Please note that in order
to run a wonderful meet for the kids, keep registration cost low and
continue to run meets at MIT, we need everyone's help. The final parent work
schedule will be posted early next week. Anyone willing to donate to the
hospitality room is asked to email Carol O'Brien:

The following families are currently expected to help with the
entire session when their child is swimming: Buckle, Buzanis,

Here are the warm up and start times for the MIT Meet. Please note Sunday
morning is changed:

Saturday Morning – Warm ups
begin at 7:30 AM, Meet at 8:30 AM
Saturday Afternoon - Warm
ups begin at 4:00 PM, Meet at 5:00 PM
Sunday Morning – Warm ups
begin at 7:00 AM, Meet at 8:00 AM (Change)
Sunday Afternoon - Warm ups
begin at 4:00 PM, Meet at 5:00 PM
The parking garage on Vasser Street will not be open due to construction.
Please plan on parking on the street or in a different lot (listed on the
meet info). Please plan parking and walking into the building into your
travel time!
2) July 25-27, 2008 Swim Meet in Hamilton New York at Colgate
University: NSSC will be traveling to Colgate University on
Thursday July 24, 2008 by van. We will be staying at the Colgate University
Dorm rooms. Price for the transportation and accommodation's will be roughly
250.00. If any parent would like me to reserve space for them, I need to
know immediately. We will have final numbers by next week.
The following swimmers are scheduled to attend: Aster, Buckle, Buckle,
Chung, Cygleman, Giglio, Grueter, Huleatt, Jameson, Jameson, Lowen, Morgan,
Moroney, Rookwood, Smith, Townsend, Lau, Mock, Sanda.
We are waiting on answers from the following parents: Schultz, Taylor, Yang.
If you have a change of plans, and your swimmer can attend this great
opportunity, we are still able to add swimmers.
